Happy New Year & January 28th Event!

• This months Top 3 Style Tip Answers....

  
  

  1) Shorter Silhouette - would like to appear taller? Try a pointy toe shoe to give the illusion of height - a little heel to your comfort level helps also.

  2) What style pants should I wear to downplay hips/butt? As a general rule, stay away from pants (jeans included) with buttons, flappy pockets and loud details on the bottom, for hips, stay away from pleaded pants and side pockets (if they do not lay flat)

  3) Can I wear black w/brown? Absolutely! Many of the old rules don't apply in my book - I believe that good mixing and matching is more about non-competing textures and patterns. Certainly there are some combinations that aren't attractive together - but feel inspired to play around in your closet - you'll be amazed at what color combo's you've been told not to pair that actually pair well.
